Our Story

Iā€™m Kelly, owner and cheesemaker at Johnston Hill Creamery. As a professional cook and life-long cheese lover, I thought it would be fun to try my hand at cheesemaking. Soon, this hobby turned into a passion, and the idea to start JHC was born.

Johnston Hill Creamery is named after my grandparents, Janice and Jimmy Johnston, who instilled in me values like hard work, determination and respect ā€” which I strive to showcase in our goods. I hope you enjoy our products as much as I enjoy making them!

All of our cheese products are made by hand using traditional methods and aged in-house in our 150 square-foot cheese cave. We only use milk and cream purchased locally , and there are no added preservatives.
